Project Ventus - Desktop Scale Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel System
Thu, 10 Apr
|Location is TBD
Project Ventus is an in-person engineering work shop event in which we will be planning, modelling, building and testing a desktop Scale wind-tunnel. This project has been inspired by the "Little Smokey" initiative of NASA in which high-schools made their own wind tunnels with the help of NASA.

About the event
The participants who will be participating in this event will be awarded with a certificate of recognition at the end of the event and this certificate will help you strengthen your portfolio and to show your interest in engineering.
The virtual planning sessions will commence from this Thursday and the participants would be segregated into different teams like CFD analysis team, CAD modelling team, electronics team etc. In the virtual sessions the wind tunnel would be planned and modelled and each team would be allocated a small task that would help in the development of the wind tunnel.
On Sunday 20th, April all the participants will gather at a decided venue and spend the day building the wind tunnel. After building the aerodynamic behaviours of different airfoils would be tested and a report would be generated.
There is a registration fee of Rs.250, which would collectively be used in the…
